MRI Spine lumbar and sacral today. Any body else had one before?

Booked in this morning for above. Has any one else had this, did it pick up any Endo?

Not feeling very hopeful.

It's for my "sciatica issues" drs words

Tingling in bum/legs, stabbing pain in thighs, lower back pain. Tired legs.

ok I have the same, lower back pain,stabbing in the thigh. my endo specialist referred me for MRI. But it didnt state which area. But he said it was to detect which nerve it is. My physio said I have sciatica nerve pain. So my surgeon referred me for MRI. I have been given the all clear now for endo.

Its gets really painful. I'm on gabapentin 3 times a day and zapain when I need it.

Did they check your sciatic nerve or it's branches for endo? X

I have a MRI scan on the 12th december. Then a followup in jan 23rd. So will find the cause of it then. In the meantime I am continuing to get physio on my lower back. It has helped a lot. Other than that I am applying deep heat spray. I am currently not taking any medication. x
