Belly button after laproscopy

Hi,

I am almost 2 weeks after having a laproscopy. I have 4 incisions, 2 on my left side one on my right and the last one is under my belly button.

I thought the the incision was inside the belly button instead, has anyone else had their incision directly underneath it not inside?

Mine was directly on my belly button but I think it depends where they find the endo as to where they go in! X

Hi Yes, one of my incisions is just below my belly button, not inside

I’ve had 6 unfortunately but each time they’ve gone through inside my belly button. It may be your surgeons choice. With my hysterectomy I thought I would have 4 but only had 3. I’d say if it’s healing ok not to worry xxx

I had one right at the bottom which gave me grief and one like on the 'ring' which I think I was too pudgy for them to get in, hence why they went through the bottom of the bellybutton at the end haha x
