Pain from impact/touch - new symptom

Hi all - not diagnosed yet but should be getting referred to Gynae soon.

I accidentally hurt myself yesterday. I work in an office with a swivel chair (on wheels) and I needed to move away from my desk so I pushed myself backwards from the desk using my belly! This resulted in instant crippling pain (9/10) in my pelvic area, about 2 inches below my belly button, very central, and I thought at first I'd ruptured something. It subsided to a 6 or 7/10 after a couple of minutes and stayed there until ibuprofen kicked in after about 30 mins which took it down to a 3 or 4. Today I just feel a bit sore on moving around.

Won't be doing that again!

Does anyone else get pain from an impact like that? It really shocked me because previously my pain hasn't responded to touching i.e. doc pushing on my tummy in examination.

However I do find that if I am already in pain, then tight waistbands like jeans or tights and my car seatbelt make my pain worse/more noticeable.

Worth noting that abdo/pelvic/transvaginal ultrasound back in April showed "nothing unusual".

Could this new symptom be a sign of something changing since then? Or something missed on ultrasound?

I’ve been getting this as well weirdly, whenever I try to get up or more myself to quickly it feels like somethings ripping there and I’m in pain for the next few hours.

My doctors think this is either more endo or endo that was missed during my surgery or that I’m getting cysts. So perhaps something has changed since your scan in April or like you said they’ve missed something? If you have endo it doesn’t generally show on an ultrasound so could be a patch of it causing the issue. It’s worth letting your doctor know you’ve had this, especially if it continues. I hope it doesn’t happen again and that you figure out what’s caused it.

I had this and it was definitely endometriosis and endometriosis adhesions which caused significant pain when my tummy was touched.. my tummy was so tender.. After surgery this has resolved.
