Just been reading your blog .. so well written, made me cry. I’m so sorry to hear of your journey with endo it’s such an evil thing. I’ve suffered for 15 yrs had a hysterectomy in 2016 and recently had my ovaries removed and I’m sad to say I still don’t feel human yet .. still have pain 😡
As I read posts from everyone on this site I hear time and time again that dcs say it’s all in our head, it’s heartbreaking to hear them say it, I actually stopped going to my god as I had the same ... ‘u need to exercise more’ ‘it’s muscle pain’ ‘join the gym’ and one of my most recent was told to do mindfulness and yoga for 6 weeks and I would be sorted .. 10 weeks later I had surgery where they found both ovaries are fused to bowel and whole lot fused to pelvic wall 😢 I’m not sure yoga and mindfulness would have help sort that ???
I am currently on a phased return to my physical job in a nursery school and rang a gp for advice as I’m in agony.. her reply was well if I sent u to the gym for the day you would hurt 😔 so take paracetamol and basically get on with it 😢
Can I just say a huge thank you to Karl for being there for you and sharing his story .. amazing !
My husband is not supportive at all and doesn’t come to any appointments he does not understand what I’m going through and often calls me miserable... I can’t argue with it as I am this endo has made it happen .
Thank you so much for your comment! I will tell Karl when he finishes work it'll make his day. I was really nervous about starting the blog but if it helped one single person it was worth it. I'm so sorry to hear about your other half not being supportive but the one and only positive about endo is how supportive our community is! I'm always miserable thanks to endo and holding it against you is so unfair! I have that issue with my boss I get a lot of hurtful inappropriate comments. You have me now =) I'll support you! With regards to pain management, I use cbd I have it for my vape as I was on tramadol but that became a problem I find it just takes the edge off a bit and also heating and cooling pads which you can pick up in pound land but I'm sure you've tried it all! I'm here for you sweetie just drop me a message or search for us on Instagram. You can email through the blog too. Thinking of you xxx
I would love to follow on Instagram but sadly not in touch with technology.. no Facebook or Instagram 🙈 I’m new to health unlocked and can just about manage that.
I’m sure your stories are going to help lots in the future, the more people who share their experience the better.
