Should I go to GP again?

I’ve been awake most of the night with horrendous pain in my right side between hip and belly button and below. I’ve seen gynae who fitted Mirena and discharged me, had swabs taken two weeks ago which were clear apart from some inflammatory markers(?) so I don’t know what to do and whether to go back to GP. I refuse to believe her opinion last time I saw her when she said sometimes there are no answers for pain but there must be a cause if it’s getting so much worse! I’m worried about making a nuisance of myself there and them just telling me to take painkillers! Should I go back?

Hi yes definitely if you feel something isn’t right, we know our own bodies and when something isn’t normal. Even change GP if your current one dismisses what you say. Good luck xx
