Hi everyone. I’m new to the community and just reading through some of your inspiring posts. Just wondered if someone could clear up some of the terminology here? I.e. TTC? AMH? What is the Endo diet? Thanks 😊 x

Hi Bohdi,
Not sure if this will answer your questions as my knowledge is limited in some of the above, but:
An AMH test has to do with checked ovarian egg reserves. If it not something I have experienced myself.
TTC is often used for trying to conceive.
Some people find that an Endo diet, which is is a diets (there is more than one version) aimed at cutting out certain food groups (such as dairy and/gluten) which may trigger or enhance endometriosis symptoms and commonly also introducing foods that promote the intake of certain vitamins and nutrients.
Many people find it helps, especially with things like bloating, inflammation and helping with irritable bowel symptoms.
As always, I would recommend discussing with your GP. They may refer you to a nutritionist and/or suggest checking your blood work for certain vitamin and nutrient levels that can hugely impact your health. Dependant on your results they may suggest taking certain targeted supplements. Examples could be iron (which could be depleted such as for heavy long term bleeding - but taking in too much iron can lead to health issues of their own), and Vitamin D (which comes from the sun and also affects our body's ability to absorb calcium. A lacking level of vitamin D can have a dramatic impact how how you feel and reduce your risk of other conditions). They may also suggest you just add a standard multivitamin to your diet if you do not already take one.
I hope this helps
