This is lap no. 3, and after keeping a pain diary for 1 year I've just had surgery. They didn't find any endo, but I've been been in almost daily pain.
I feel like I've lost my mind! Obviously its great nothing was found (endo found in previous laps), but I'm at a complete loss as to why I've been in so much pain.
Any advice?
Thanks x

I’m sorry you didn’t get answers was it a endo specialist or regular gynae ? they can sometimes miss endo lesions as they don’t recognise all forms of endo so complex. Could it be scar tissue that is causing the pain & symptoms?
I would go back & depending on your situation see if the gynaecologist or GP can manage your pain it’s not okay to be suffering so much xxx
Well, if the surgeon who performed it was not an extremely well-trained excision specialist, they probably couldn't recognize your lesions (endo lesions differ in colour and type and not all specialists recognize all). Adhesions can be a sign of endometriosis by the way.
I suggest you look into dietary and lifestyle changes as well as supplements and maybe a progesterone-only pill and in the meantime book an appointment with a truly experienced and well-trained endo excision specialist. Please PM me if you want names of the best ones working within the NHS
