Zoladex help

Hi everyone

In June i had a laparoscopy to drain a 14cm chocolate cyst on my left ovary and told i had stage 4 endo. I was prescribed Zoladex injection and Tibolene tablets. I've recently had an ultrasound scan and the cyst has filled back up already to the same size.

after 5 injections of Zoladex i've recently had a proper period and bleeding most days. My understanding was that Zoladex would put my body into a menopausal state but doesn't feel like that's working

Now waiting for 2nd lap to try to remove the large cyst rather than drain it (which has stuck to my bowel) and remove my left ovary and blocked/twisted fallopian tube

Anyone else had similar experience of Zoladex not working or regulr bleeding whilst on it?

Hi there! Sorry to hear about your experience. I have been on zoladex and tibolone for 3 months (had my fourth injection yesterday) I have nothing diagnosed and I have had no investigations either (my treatment has been shocking). I have been bleeding everyday for 3 months whilst on zoladex, some full on periods, some random heavy bleeding with clots, some spotting. The doctor has done nothing apart from change Tibolone to femoston-conti which I am refusing to take as it says not to take it if you have undiagnosed bleeding or a menstrual cycle in the past 12 months.
