SECOND ZOLADEX HELP!!!!

Hey guys,

Looking for some advice, had my 2nd monthly Zoladex yesterday. Started feeling really good about 2 weeks after first, a lot less pain. Today I’ve been having like a “flare” and can only relate it to yesterday’s injection.

Does anyone have experience of this? I’m starting to worry.

Many thanks

Katie x

Hi

After every Zoladex injection (im currently on 5th of 6) i get a lot of pain and im very tired for a couple of days. However, for me, it does pass by day 3 or 4.

Hey quick question, would you say 4 weeks into Zoladex is too soon to notice a dramatic difference? I was expecting miracles quickly, do I need to be paititent? X

I’m afraid so I’m still having smaller flare ups. I had a bad one 2 weeks ago which was month 4 and needed 2 days off work as I struggled to walk. I’m afraid be patient it takes 2/3 months to see an improvement and it may not be a complete miracle I’m afraid!

Thank you 😘 best wishes for your next op! I’m scared/excited for my next op, it’s such a weird mixture of emotions.

I’m on 3 months of Zoladex but I might see if they’ll extend me to six... will see what my consultant says xx

Hi there, I’ve been on Zoladex for a year and a half now. You do get used to them and will feel a bit ropey after the first few days of each injection x
