Exercises? I’m in the mood to move!

I find the pain of Endo limits my exercise! I think working out in whatever way I can would help. Does anyone have any low key moves I could try? I walk and swim but that’s about all I can manage at the moment :( x

Hi Louise, you could try yoga or pilates. I also find that I can't do a lot of exercise, so I tend to exercise when I don't have my period. I've been focusing on bodyweight exercises (things like pushups, squats, tricep dips, etc.) and walking whenever I can. I've tried yoga before - if you need some direction, there are probably loads of videos you can look through on YouTube, but I find this one quite gentle and soothing: youtube.com/watch?v=AYA4P35...

Exercise is supposed to help as it's said to reduce oestrogen levels, so I'm trying to get more exercise in as well (not always successful though).

I hope you find something else that helps!

That’s great! Thank you. Whenever I am struggling I will just think “I am reducing oestrogen and this will help me”. Also yoga and Pilates are both good options to try :) x

Maybe try some gentle yoga at home (no pressure to do it all and can leave out any uncomfortable poses)? I find it relaxes my muscles and the breathing is nourishing and calming. Could search Youtube for a beginner routine x
