I suggest you consult with an excision specialist to rule out the presence of endometriosis which can very easily hinder conception and then either undergo advanced excision surgery or start trying to conceive right away.
Hormonal injections can also lead to mineral and vitamin deficiency. I suggest you start taking prenatal vitamins such as magnesium, zinc, selenium, iodine, iron, vitamin D (get your levels checked out), vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folate (like this one, even though the magnesium content is not much amazon.co.uk/Pregnacare-Vit....
Also get your thyroid hormones checked out. Sleep at least 9 hours per night every night (weekends included). Please eat very very healthily (number 1 most important rule to follow when trying to get pregnant), especially lots of veggies, fish (for the omega 3), some free-range eggs and grass-fed meat for iron/vitaminD and vitamin B12, nuts, quinoa, amaranth and in-season fresh fruit. Do mild physical activity outdoors like walking in the park in the morning or during the weekend, outdoors yoga or light swimming.
Following these rules will help you get your period back
Thank you so much for your advice. I had excision surgery in February this year. The gynaecologist said that after the prostap would be our best (and only) chance to get pregnant. Thanks again.
Hi I had been on prostap for a year. It's been just over 2 months now and no period. I'm wondering when I'm going to have a period and what's it going to be like ?? 😕
