How will I know if It’s endometriosis

How do I get a diagnosis I’m 41 , how do they test for it ?.I just feel like my life is around my period . I just hate my period I would be happy to stop them now and be happy not to bleed again , Its heavy I have funny pains in body I almost feel like I’m bleeding inside it’s a strange feeling I’m very clotty . I’m gonna try changing my lifestyle a bit whilst trying to figure out if I have endometrial. any advice Thankyou

You should be referred to see a gynecologist from your gp and they should then send you for a laperoscopy to look for endo I'm currently waiting for lap since may after seeing 4 gynes so be blunt with them I wish I was sooner got sick of them offering me this and that and having the pains everyday and don't get me started on periods OMG, so i wrote everything down and gave it to the gyne, she referred me for a lap after she read it I just wish I'd been blunt from the start, I already have adenomyosis diagnosed, hope your having a pain free day today and good luck x
