Endo surgery

Hello All,

Can anybody let me know what this ultrasound report is? My doctor says I have to undergo for another surgery. I have underwent two surgery before. Keyhole surgery in 2013(I have stage 4 endo) and open surgery in 2015. Can endometriosis be treated via medicine? My doctor says if I came early surgery could have been stopped. I am very depressed. Please help me!

So basically you have a large cyst on your right ovary. Anything bigger then 5cm they usually watch n wait for a couple of cycles to see if it goes. However yours is not a ‘simple’ cyst that most women get each month as they are usually clear with no ‘structure’ inside. Yours is measuring quite large. And as it states it is either a turbo cyst or chocolate cyst . They noted a small growth within the endometrial wall that they suggest could be a polyp . X

Hello @Holleymuzz! Thanks for replying. I have got my MRI done last week and the report show B/L endometriosis cyst, size is 91x59 mm in right and 60x27 mm in left and now I have Adenomyosis too. Reports shows slightly bulky uterus. She plans for laparoscopic surgery (cystertommy) after surgery she will put me on medicine for adenomyosis. Can adenomyosis be cure via medicine? And she also said that she will see if my ovaries are damage then she will remove them.I am so scared. Please advice me. Thanks

Hi endo321. I also have adenomyosis. I’m sorry to inform you that the only way to cure adenomyosis is a hysterectomy. I’m having one on Monday 2nd sept. Although a slightly bulky uterus isn’t a definitive, however the only to 100% confirm adenomyosis is to have a hysterectomy and to dissect and test all parts of the uterus, you cannot simply biopsy it as the adenomyosis could be anywhere within the actual muscle wall of the uterus.
