I gained weight on the pill, so I stopped years ago, definitely the hormones which make that happen.

I had a lap to excise my endo as hormones didn't suit me, definitely say that's the best way to control your endo as they cut out the endo so there's less of it hence symptoms and regrowth are less. It sounds extreme, but if your symptoms are bad and you've tried hormones then that's the next treatment. Hormones may slow endo growth but it'll keep growing eventually needing surgery. It's one of those things that progressively gets worse but at different rates for different women so some may never need a lap, others will need maybe one and hormones, others lots of laps and hormones, some like me are trying without hormones but still knowing laps will be needed to remove endo.

I guess if you want to stay on hormones that's okay, but each one is different for each women so it may be a case of trial and error, some women say the mirena coil has helped them.

Some stuff like diet could help with symptoms; such as reducing gluten and dairy, I found this helped with bloating and pain levels.

Hope you find something that helps xx

Wow thank you for responding to my post I’m new on here, and I actually just stopped the hormones two weeks ago due to the awful side effects. And yes I actually had the laparoscopic surgery done only to diagnose me, my surgeon told me I have microscopic endometriosis. Which was to difficult for her to remove and dangerous :/ said I have it on uterus pelvic floor , bladder, and she suspects bowels but I don’t have a actual clear diagnosis for my bowels yet which yes BMS hurt like hell lol. So now I’m currently gave up on hormones and trying acupuncture as well as Chinese herbs. I haven’t tried the gluten free diet but shoot I’m willing. To try that as well do you eat meat?

Ah I've not tried acupuncture, it's next on my list for my period cramp. Have you found it works? What do you use it for?

I've reduced my gluten wherever I can, I still eat some, but it doesn't seem to contribute to bloating with the odd bit like a wrap.

I still eat meat, if you're in the UK no meats for consumption have added hormones so they're fine, I know in the US it's standard. I've reduced red meat anyway to once every two weeks, I have chicken twice a week, two veggie meals and three fish :)

You may find reducing red meat or getting rid of it altogether could help, I'd say try one thing for a few weeks, as it can take about 6 weeks to really see if getting rid of something has an effect.
