So I’m on the waiting list to see the specialist to go ahead with the operation. I’ve gone back on the pill, so I’m not suppose to ovulate right?! I have the worst lower back aching pain and keep getting twinges in my ovaries like I am ovulating! I have done some exercise this morning but would this really trigger this? I thought exercise is good? i hate the pill so much and didn’t want to go back on it but my GP pushed me back on it. It’s made me feel so low and anxious again
I think I’m now overthinking any new symptoms I’m getting. I’m 27 and just think how will I be when I’m 37?! If it gets worse over time I just can’t imagine it!

Hey there! I don't have much advice to give on your problems sorry but just wanted to say by the sounds of it we are in more or less the same boat. I'm 27 too and gone on the pill to help with it but I still get twinges also! I think you can get them whether you're ovulating or not though, and like you most of my pain is my lower back. It can be general inflammation or the effect on your digestive system or anything. It's really hard to tell without seeing it in the operation and even then it can be hard to see the whole picture as far as I'm aware. I'm yet to have an op as well, I've seen the consultant gynaecologist once so far and he said come back in 6 months so reassess so I'm waiting lke you too. Just wanted to check in and say you're not alone.
Hi,
I was diagnosed with endometriosis in sep. I been getting the same. I was told to go on the pill at first I didn't see much difference I was told to have it tricycle the. a break but every 3months I would get a terrible pelvis pain flare up and lower back and thigh pain. since referring myself to a bsge centre in April my pain is now managed well as I was told to have th3 pill within the break. Yes I gained water retention weight on my legs but other than that I am like endo free although I am not.
With the bsge centre within 3 months I had my consultation, mri scan, mri results and now have a surgery date. I am 30 btw with no kids yet
But I just wanted to say gynaecology specialist take far too long I was on the waiting list since last December for surgery and still didnt receive anything, which resulted in me referring myself to a bsge centre as the last hospital they overdosed me and I had sadly had a cardiac arrest. Due to the waiting time I am now stage 4 with severe endometriosis all because I been kept on the waiting list at the gynaecology centre. Your better off getting into a bsge centre which would has a pain management clinic to help you. Good luck
