I have posted on here before but had my lap on Wednesday and I was told that they found no endo but they took out a cyst on my right ovary for analysis. I have an appointment with my gyane on Tuesday but I’m stuck what to do now.
I’m going to book an appointment with my pain doctor to manage the pain but has anyone in a similar situation actually found answers for what causes chronic daily pelvic pain?
Thanks

Unless the gynae who performed the surgery was a well-trained and experienced endo excision surgeon, endometriosis was not recognised and therefore missed.
I am sorry but chronic pelvic pain can be two things: PID or endometriosis. Sometimes it can be hernias, adenomyosis, but all of these rarely show up without endometriosis.
I am sorry but I am afraid you will need to undergo endo excision surgery with a much better surgeon in the future. PLEASE SEEK SPECIALISED HELP in the future (certified surgeon working at BSGE centre or Nancy Nook surgeon).
Hi I had my lap done at a BSGE centre. Queens hospital in Romford, Essex. I have been experiencing chronic pain since I was 18 (before becoming sexually active) and now I’m 27 but I will mention what you have advised when I meet the gyane to see what they say.
I also did fertility test in South Korea 3 weeks ago and the doctor old advised against the lap as they are endo specialists and couldn’t see it in the scans so I’m confused.
I know I will never qualify for private healthcare insurance as I tried so it’s either use NHS or use my savings to do everything privately.
I cannot advise you as I don't know all BSGE centres. But if you are still struggling for answers or with pain, the best piece of advice is to join the Nancy Nook group on Facebook and search for an experienced endo specialist in the "Surgeons International" file in that group. That is the best resource to find the best doctors
