Hi, I had six zoladex injections after my lap in Dec. I have stage 4 endo and enlarged uterus with adeno. The side effects were manageable from zoladex. The last injection was on 4th June. Now, I feel worse..headaches, nausea and vomiting, hot flushed from time to time. Still no periods..but the side effects are bad. Are feeling tired, nausea headaches, bowel symptoms... the withdrawl symptoms? When can I have my periods back? Not looking forward it though. Pls help.

Hey, yeah the withdrawal is your body learning to live without it. Much like coming off any medication your body needs time to get used to functioning without it, the severity of the symptoms and time is different for each person.

A quick search of the net seems to suggest withdrawal symptoms are about the same as the listed side effects, but will get better over time.

I'm not sure when periods return; I know for the pill they say even though it seems like you have normal cycles it can take a while (up to 6 months) for the body to figure out what a cycle is, what ovulation is etc to get it all back in sync and regular.

I guess cycles will start again once the side effects start reducing??

Hopefully some lovely lady will be able to help with their experience xx
