I had my lap on Monday and they had to remove a lot of endo including unsticking ovaries from pelvic wall. I have searched the net but can’t find anything so hoping one of you could help me, what is the best thing for me to do to prevent risk of adhesions and scar tissue forming? I am taking fish oil which I have read helps and have acupuncture booked for next week (in too much pain to have it done this week) , I have been eating home made chicken soup all week and fruit. Am I missing anything at all?

Acupuncture did help with the pain considerably but did not reduce the size of the cysts. I did take serrapeptase which helps inflammation. I have started eating organic fruit and vegetables and no dairy
Thank you butterfly775. I took serrapeptase one month before my procedure and convinced myself it would clear it all up and I would wake up with no endo 😢 I might start taking it again in a few days time until I finish it off. Also I only have organic fruit and veg now but really struggling with all the planned cooking and eating much the same. And now starting to get anxiety when I eat a non organic piece of fruit and veg. Emotionally not in the best place at the moment xx
I am in a similar situation to you. I had an ovary cysts on both sides but mine were large 9 cm and 5 cm. It's been 2 weeks since I had them improve and I am in the recovery stage at the moment.
Not sure where you are based but I have been seeing a nutritionist who diagnosed me with lead poisoning which caused me to have the endometrium. She has helped me a lot and with be seeing her this month to help my body to heal and recover.
Totally understand your anxiety regarding eating organic and getting bored with the same dishes. Just try to keep your meals alkaline as possible, cut out the sugar if you can, I use higher nature zylosweet, will try baking some muffins.
How are you feeling post op? I didn’t realise I would be feeling the way I do, exhausted and just so down. Apparently procedure went really well but I was not prepared to find out how much endo I have. Three years ago it was one tiny spot of it. A nutritionalist is next on my list, are you in London by any chance? Xx
