Hi does anyone know if I can get anything to stop my bleeding. I started to bleed over 6 weeks ago now. I am on prostrap injections had them for 7 months now only started to bleed on the 6th one. Been back the GP she said she was getting In touch with my gynaecologist. 2 weeks on and she’s not got back to me. Am totally fed up of it now. Any advice would be much appreciate.

When I used to have heavy long periods with flooding (couldn’t leave the house) the GP prescribed me norethisterone. It effectively stopped the bleeding (it’s the same drug they give people to delay their period if they go on holiday etc.) A different GP prescribed me tranexamic acid but beware if your periods are heavy- for me, it just clotted the blood rather than stopped it- so I passed huge clots of solid blood instead.
