Hey, I've been struggling with severe period pain for over 11 years. I have symptoms such as heavy bleeding, clots, awful cramps, headaches, etc. I've been told by gynaecologists after a lap that I have nothing wrong with me, but am particularly 'sensitive' to my body going through the menstrual cycle. I have tried so many different types of hormonal contraception in hopes it would stop my periods. This has not happened.

I feel so helpless and have no one who really understands what I am going through. Over the counter pain relief doesn't work for me and I feel so burned out. Has anyone else been told similar about their period pain? Is there any advice about what I could do next?

I know my body and I have a high tolerance for pain, and am so confused as to why this is happening without no 'diagnosable' reason. Could I be missing something?

My sister-in-law has adenomyosis - I believe this is harder to diagnose but maybe look into that. Sorry youre having such as hard time with everything.
