Endometriosis down days

Hi,

I had my laparoscopy in January and was told my bowel was attached to my pelvis with endometriosis, I was started to provera tablets which helped but due to the other side effects I was experiencing I was taken of them after 3 months. My consultant recommended trying the combined pill to see if it helped. For the last few days I have been getting the pains again in the top of my bikini line area and have been waking up in the night with pain lasting for 30-60 minutes each time. Today I feel down, I feel like it won’t ever go away and I was wondering if anyone else ever felt like this? Just have days where you don’t know what’s wrong but just can’t be bothered with anything/anyone?

I feel like that everyday! Depressed and like there is no fixing this! It's so draining constantly worrying and being in pain I have no motivation for anything anymore, I know how you feel!

Awake in the night etc? I get pains in the day it hurts I have to stop for a few mins but can normally carry on, I can’t let it affect my work as I’m a nurse and I can’t keep having time off! So annoying isn’t it

I understand! I can hardly sleep because of the pain, I'm a nursery worker and can't bare to leave my job but it is very frustrating and I feel like there is not enough support for this condition!

Yep, I feel you on so many levels. It can be so bloody hard sometimes. I’ve had some really dark days 😔 I’m sorry to hear you have too. I’m so glad I’ve found this community because it reminds me I’m not alone with this, even though it feels it most of the time. I feel different to other girls who go out all the time and look like they have so much fun! I envy it so much because I have to work my life around my pain, cancel plans if I’m not ok. It’s tough.
