Endometriosis post partial hysterectomy

I had a partial hysterectomy 8 years ago. Everything was good until 6 months ago. Endometriosis symptoms returned. Went to the gynaecologist today told me it can’t be that as it can’t return this late. My hormone level is good this has been checked I believe it has returned he almost laughed at me!! Honestly has this happened to anyone else. I am not going through the menopause as my hormone levels are

Hi Yes. I had a hyst 2 yrs ago and the pain has continued since.. had 2 MRIs and were told everything normal so I asked for a printout of the results which say there is a fibroid on my ovary which was apparently there since scanned in 2017 but I have never been told about this! They now want to remove ovaries as they think it’s endo on bowel, but next appt not until August.. so frustrating can’t get anywhere just goes around in circles. Don’t give up. Do u have ovaries still? X

Yes still have ovaries and I think that’s the problem. So frustrating and sore.

Would you consider having them out, I was up for it as thought it would be a cure once and for all but not sure now as heard it still grows after. I dont think we will ever be free from it.

Think it’s the only option left to be honest. Really struggling with the pain when it starts.
