Hi, so in a nutshell I've been suffering with irregular periods since they first started when I was 13. My life was amazing until I started my periods then everything went downhill. I began having blackouts, unbearable pain, migraines and very painful cramps. Well I'm 19 now and it's just getting worse I have pains in my stomach everyday, my bowel movements are always painful, my urination is sometimes painful, my periods are still irregular and also very very heavy and very painful. I can no longer leave my house anymore because of the amount of pain, I'm on a waiting list to see a gynaecologist. Could it be endometriosis?
Yes it could be but it could not be. The only way to diagnose officially is to have a laparoscopy. If you're waiting to see gynocology you're on the right track for a diagnosis, whatever it may be. Good luck 🍀
It does sound likely and very similar to my story! Are you open to taking the pill? I was in pain like you when I was a teenager and tried it age 14 but didn't like it. At 18 I couldn't handle the pain any more and I was given marvelon at a sexual health clinic which I think was new at the time and a much lower dose than what I'd tried previously. I still get some pain but my periods are under control and it's nothing like it was before.
I was open to talking the pill, I've tried 4 different ones and unfortunately none of them worked for me, my periods were still unbearable, so that's when my doctor referred me to a gynaecologist which I'm still waiting to see, the waiting list is so long 😢💋also thank you for taking the time to read my post
