I am due my next injection on 12th May and I have been trying to contact anyone and everyone for an appointment. The last 3 weeks my surgeons PA has got the hospital to ring me and we discussed it and I am still waiting for them to ring me back with an appointment. I have rang 5 times already today with no answer. I can feel my pain getting stronger and just hope i don't start to bleed as I know the pain will take me back to the emergency room. anyone got any other ideas on what i can do to get this appointment. All i want is my injection...it takes 2 mins!!!!
sorry for the moaning. sometimes writing it down makes you feel better.

Sorry to hear about your stressful experience. How annoying?! I am assuming it is a zoladex or Prostap injection?
Either way you are best off physically going to the GP surgery to book your appointment. Assuming the gynaecologist has sent your GP a letter with details of your treatment the GP can write a prescription and a nurse can do the injection. Nurse appointments tend to be easier to secure. I hope this helps!
Hi, I have just spoken to my doctor and he has said it is an appointment for the hospital only. The hospital rang me this morning and she is getting back to me once again when she hears anything. 3 days until this one runs out and taking more medication. I hope they give me a quick appointment.
Call the consultants secretary and tell her u cannot let this injection run out because of this happens you are starting all over again you need to be firm my doctors wouldn’t give me it either
Act like a bit crazy and tell her you do realise if this runs out can you phone one of the clinics and book me in with a nurse while I’m on the phone the NOW!!
I would if I can get through to her, I always have to leave a message and then the hospital ring me up asking what I want. its all very frustrating. I can see myself in the emergency room. If I am, I am going to take my mum with me, she has been looking forward to kicking up a fuss as I have been left for so long. I might just let her this time
