Hi does anyone know if norethisterone stops ovulation? I go away on 15th May so I’ve been given it to delay my period which is due next week as the majority of my pain is after my period until I ovulate?

Hi Melandava,
I'm not sure what dosage you are on but I found this below:
"Norethisterone given at intermediate doses (5-10mg) suppresses ovulation via its effect on the pituitary."
