Need some support

Hello ladies, I’m in a huge amount of pain at the moment and it’s really bringing me down. My pain started as cyclical and then became more and more frequent and since January I haven’t had a pain free day. I’m so down at the moment as I’ve only just been diagnosed and I’m finding it all a lot to deal with. If anyone has any advice I’d really appreciate it.

Hi hun your not alone I totally understand where you're coming from had a similar few months myself with terrible ovarian pain and multiple visits to A&E it gets emotionally and physically draining when you're in constant pain I find hot baths and meditation can help but everyone's different I hope you feel better soon

Thank you so much for responding. I hope you’re not having the same level of pain and are getting some relief. I’m definitely gonna try some more meditation to help

It’s nearly 3am and I’m awake in agony too! I’ve recently been diagnosed so I completely understand how you feel regarding feeling low and down. If you can try speaking to someone you know about it all. Getting it out in the open to someone you trust can help tremendously and it means they can support you. Another suggestion would be to speak to your GP about how you’re feeling, they might suggest some medication to help with how you’re feeling x

Thank you so much. I spoke to my gp today and they’ve referred me for counselling so I feel like I’m moving in the right direction x

Everyone is different but I also find really hot baths, and hot water bottles help. I have started taking cbd oil which takes the edge of the pain and also makes so less anxious about it all.

It’s hard because I know all of us suffering want a normal life but my gp (who’s amazing) said to me “self love, not self destruct” don’t push yourself too much if your in pain. if you need sleep then sleep, your body is physically drained, I know it sounds stupid but try and do things that make you feel better mentally too.

Hope you feel better soon! Xx

Thank you so much. I think this is something I definitely need to listen to more as, like most people, I’m bad for pushing myself too much when I’m not well.

My hot water bottle is my saviour! I’ve been looking into cbd oil, is there a specific one you would recommend?

I vape mine as I was told it’s a lot better I ordered mine online (vsavi or something) I have a 200mg one but I would advise getting something a little stronger as mine just takes the edge off and not completely gets rid of it. Have a look around online and look at reviews, I hope you’re feeling okay xxx

Hi hun, sorry to hear about your pain. You're for sure not alone in this, I know how is it like to be awake from pain and feeling exhausted.

I find heating pads along with pain killers help to ease the pain besides taking a lot of rest and not pushing yourself.

Still waiting to have my laparoscopy, but I have the endo symptoms since I was 14 years old.

Sending you lots of love and blessings xxx💛💛

Thank you so much. I hate knowing other people are in pain, but it does really help to know I’m not alone in this.

Gotta love my hot water bottle and on sooo any painkillers at the mo! Definitely need to rest more, I’m bad for pushing myself too much.

Also waiting for my laparoscopy, I think I’m most scared that they’ll say they don’t find anything and they don’t know what’s causing it.

Lots of love and hugs xxx

I'm having the same fears, but to be honest everyone here are kind and supportive and giving me hope that I will find answers.

I hope you feel better soon and get all the answers you need.

Fingers crossed for your laparoscopy 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Xxx❤
