Endometriosis and Hrt

Hi everyone, I am 48 andI had a total hysterectomy 7 years ago for stage 4 endo which was on my bowel, bladder and I’m still suffering. After my op I was put straight onto livial which was great for a while but my dr told me I was lacking oestrogen and this was the cause of my exhaustion. I also have an under active thyroid. I’ve tried various other hrt brands and now on a patch. But it’s causing irritation. Most of the drs don’t seem to know enough about endometriosis to understand. Any advice would be greatly received.i don’t know whether to try livial again?

I had a hysterectomy at 28 years old, but they would not remove my ovaries as I was so young. I had severe endometriosis. I had rectal bleeding with clots. I still have daily bleeding, but they will not let me have a colostomy as the lining of my bowel is too thin. I have been to hospitals all over the country as they have not dealt with a case like mine. I was referred to: St.Marks hospital at London for my rectal bleeding. I started suffering with endometriosis at 24 years old, and I am now 63 years old.

I suggest you keep fighting your case with your GP and Consultant to try and sort your problem out. regards, Della.
