Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone can help me I was diagnosed with severe endo last August after my tube ruptured due to an ectopic pregnancy and was told my bowl and other Fallopian tube was damaged, since then I have had another ectopic pregnancy in my only remaining tube. My consultant then booked me in for a mri scan which I’m still waiting on the results for and the ink test to see if my Fallopian tube was blocked which it was so they told me I am infertile... during my consultation my consultant told me they are going to refer me for ivf but would not be able to do my operation before the ivf as it can damage my eggs/chances of ivf has any one else been told this as I’m reading mixed things???

I've not had any operations for my endometriosis but have had 2 ectopics and lost both my tubes and have had IVF which resulted in my 8 month old daughter...I would advise to speak to your IVF consultant who may be able to help you further.

Thank you for your advise I am waiting for my first appointment as my referral only got sent off last week but with me only being 23years old my endo consultant said I might have to wait till I’m 25.

Best of luck to you. 23 is such a young age for you to be dealing with endometriosis (mine was diagnosed with 2nd ectopic and was told IVF might not help us) and infertility on top...do what is best for you and always get a second opinion if you're not happy. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you. Iknow it is such a hard thing to take in at such a young age aswell as juggling work with it all. Mine wouldn’t of been diagnosed if my tube hadn’t of ruptured during my ectopic pregnancy but to then be told you have the worst stage and it’s caused so much damage!! Thank you and yeah I will do.
