Cancelled endo specialist appointment

After 8 years of waiting they have cancelled my endo specialist appointment again. They have moved me to the 24th April 2019. I am so annoyed and helpless. My GP cannot give me anything anymore. We have tried depo-provera treatment, around 30 different hormone pills, painkillers, different endo diets and nothing has worked so far. My livia device still hasn't arrived. I will ask my GP on Friday to send me to another endo clinic by London Bridge which I have suggested in the 1st place. I am in so much pain that unable to work and I cannot wait for a laparoscopy to be done on me. I am so disappointed and annoyed....I feel like no one cares how unwell I am and nobody does anything about it either. Has this happened to any of you or am I being over dramatic?

No you are not overreacting, I know that awful feeling as the next appt keeps you hoping and then its cancelled like you dont matter. I was in my hosp gown with stockings on after being in hosp since7am for my hysterectomy to be told at 4pm it was cancelled. So mad was I! Had to wait a month for the next one. Hold on and keep hassling the dr. What is a livia device? I am currently awaiting MRI results as endo back on ovaries and poss bowel. Never ending, gets you down trying to live a normal life but its impossible. Good luck

My GP is on annual leave however he is back on Friday so I will make an appointment for Friday to see him and refer me to London Bridge endo specialist clinic. Thanks hun. I hope so.

Omg what has happened to you it's even more awful than my case. I have asked them for an MRI and they didn't want to do it for me. I wish you the best of luck. My livia is a device that eases your pain.

That is awful - I am so sorry! Keep pushing the GP - you have a right to say where you want to be treated!

I wish I could afford a Livia device. I’ve heard quite a few good reviews for it but it is incredibly expensive!

Thanks hun. I am going to push it as much as I can. It's been going on for a very long time and I feel like everybody let's me down.

I agree with you that is very expensive but my pain has got so severe.. I cannot even go to work and I truly needed something to help me as I cannot take painkillers etc. I just need some relief finally. Still awaiting for it tho. Thanks and good luck to you too.
