Colposcopy/Pap smear

Hi everyone!

So I had a Pap smear 1 year ago which showed the hpv virus. I just had a follow up one and the hpv is still detected so now my gp is sending me for a colposcopy.

Has anyone had a colposcopy? What is it like? How does it compare to having a Pap smear?

I’m so anxious about having this done, any advise is much appreciated!

Hey! Have you done the colposcopy? I have done 1 month ago and you don't feel any pain at all.
