I'm looking for advice from anyone who has had experience with zoladex. I am 30 and me and my husband are hoping to get pregnant this year. I had a 7 month course of Zoladex while going through a range of tests and procedures to try and diagnose the cause of my horrific period pain. My last 3 month (10.8mg) zoladex implant was in January - 10 months ago. I'm getting concerned that my period hasn't returned. I had blood tests last week which showed I'm still in menopause and my ovaries are not functioning at all. My gynecologist said it's unusual but we'll just wait and see what happens...has anyone had a similar experience or can offer any advice? Thank you x

Zoladex
I’m on zoladex but not come off so can’t say. However I remember having the depo injection about 9 years ago and it took over a year for my periods to return! Sadly we never know what our bodies are going to do.
Good luck & I hope it settles soon for you xx
Hi Ash_87
It took 18 months for my periods to return and for me to start ovulating again and longer still to fall pregnant after menopause injections, but I was on them for longer than 7 months and I am quite a bit older than you. Can you get a referral to your local hospital’s fertility clinic so that they can do a bit more of a detailed fertility analysis?
Don’t panic though - every woman’s body responds differently to Endo hormone treatments and yours may just be taking a little time to work it’s way back up to speed, x X x
