Breast and lymph node swelling and pain

Hey guys, wondered if anyone here has experienced anything similar? So I’m 27 and I was diagnosed with endo just over a year ago. About 6 months ago I realised a week before and during my period, my breasts were tender painful and swollen (more so than usual) my right auxiliary (armpit) lymph node also swells and is so goddamn painful, there is no hard lump but definitely inflamed and evidently enlarged. I went to the docs and she did an examination, she has now referred me for an urgent appointment to the breast clinic. Now I’m not too worried it’s anything more sinister and just have a feeling it’s connected to my hormones and endo. I’m not on any hormone medication so just wondered if anyone has experienced anything similar or been referred to the breast clinic?

I also get extremely painful breasts before and during my period, which I'm currently suffering with at this very moment. It gets so bad that I struggle to wear a bra and they're painful to the touch, I've also been referred urgently to the breast clinic twice in the last 3 years due to lumps been felt by the gp. Both times it was nothing sinister, not sure what causes it tbh but my theory is that endo creates it's own estrogen which probably makes our pms worse x

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes definitely hurt to touch, when I went to the gp she said the left breast felt more lumpy but I couldn’t feel it personally but it was the lymph node that when she touched I yelped. What did they do at the breast clinic? I have no idea what to expect? X

My breasts were examined by a doctor then I had a scan which I got the results from the doctor straight after x

Hi,I used to get painful breasts from ovulation to the day I would get my period roughly 2weeks.Though mine was mostly on the front of my breast mostly the left one.Occasionally I would get on the side of armpits but not as painful as what you describe.I tend to think it's hormonal imbalance.Three months ago I started taking a combination of Vit B6,B12 and folic in higher doses, when that got finished I got Omega 3 supplements.I stopped experiencing pain and only get slight sore nipples right before my periods start like a day or 2days before.Maybe you can try that

Thanks so much for the advice yes I definitely feel like it’s hormonal imbalances. Tempting to go for a hormonal profiling exam, to see if there’s anything to detect.

I had the same issue. Referred for scan on breast. Nothing found. They just said it was lumpy breast tissue down to hormones apparently. Can be quite painful as well but can be worrying x
