Hi all,

im currently waiting for a confirmed diagnosis of endo but i cannot seem to find any relief from the pain! I have tried multiple pain relief meds and things like heat pads and nothing seems to be effective. Any recommendations would be great.

Hi Rem,

I'm in the same position as you - waiting for diagnostic lap.

What painkillers have you tried?

I've had constant pain for 18 months and nothing seems to take it away completely ☹️ I find a hot water bottle or a hot bath are the most helpful, but I also take tramadol when the pain gets really bad. It's not ideal for long term as I know it can be addictive and make you feel really off but it's the only thing that takes the edge off for me!

Hope you find some relief soon X

Oh that is so nice to hear someone else is in the same position as me !

I have tried numerous pain killers from anti inflammatory pain relief to codeine but the GP is not keen on giving me anything stronger for the pain! Its taken me 16 months just to get codeine which isn't the best help !

Hot baths and heat pads do help a little but only takes the edge off!

Did the specialist refer you for the diagnostic lap ? I am due to finally see a specialist on Monday (after ending up in hospital twice, and missing uni).

Thank you for your help !! xx

It's so frustrating! I tried codeine at the start and it just didn't work for me. They eventually put me on tramadol after about 6 months of pain. It was a miracle at first and completely took the pain away but now I've built up a tolerance it only masks it really ☹️ also I was initially using a reaaally hot hot water bottle but it burnt my skin so be careful of that 😬 I've now got marks on my stomach and leg that are apparently permanent from the heat damage I've done! Yeah I saw a consultant in September and he suggested a lap so that's now booked in with him. Sucks that you've been missing uni because of it ☹️ I ended up having to leave my grad job because of taking so much time off with the pain. Hopefully once we've had our laps we might be able to get some answers and a bit of relief 🤞🏼 let me know how it goes with the specialist! X

Yes it really is ! Yeah it isn't working for me but i cant seem to get the GP to give me anything stronger and I have been suffering since last June hugely. I have already managed to burn my skin on a heat pad which has now become a scar so I have learnt my lesson !

Oh brill sounds like your heading the right way hopefully my specialist refers me for a lap because I am fed up now !

I am finding it a constant battle trying to find a balance and getting into uni/placement!

Fingers crossed we can get somewhere soon !

I will do let me know how your lap goes ! Good luck xx

Hi Rem,

I had a diagnostic lap last year and been on hormonal treatment after. I had a rest from it for supposedly two months. Then one of my friends from canada introduced me to this product hemohim and i tried it for two months now. I dunno but the pain went away . I did my readings ofcourse prior to taking it. Its been 4 months now that i havent had my therapy.

Hi , don’t know if this is helpful to you but I had 5 sessions of acupuncture, I have stage 4 endo, had 2 ops in 2 years and it came back. Acupuncture more or less took away my pain to a manageable level for about 6 months. Pain is back with a vengeance now so I made another app for acupuncture and going next week for next 5 weeks. Tried diets, drinks, Chinese soup and acupuncture only thing that ever gave me any real release, it’s good to help fertility too so wish me luck and hope you find something that works for you xx

Ps try neproxin as it a stronger anti inflammatory x
