Hi everyone so I had my lap on Tuesday and the surgeon said there was no Edno found which I’m happy about he has taken some biopsy’s and fitted me the coil, does anyone have any idea which would be causing all this pain, I suffer with extremely bad periods, sever pains where I can’t n even move, pain with intercourse, extreme tiredness, bad back and bowl problems i don’t know what to do next or where it turn I feel at a dead end again I’m just loosing hope I feel like a fool and I don’t know what to do :’(

Have you considered adenomyosis, like endo it’s very hard to diagnose and causes similar problems. I think occasionally it can show up on an MRI

Hi there is it possible to have adenomyosis even if drs said it is probably not a gynaelogical issue? That's also what they put on my form. But in my physical exam with my gynae he said my uterus was retroverted (tilts back) but after lap he said it all looks healthy and normal.

Yes I believe so. Adenomyosis is sort of a cousin of endometriosis, however all remains inside the uterus. The only way they can know for sure is cutting up and biopsies after a hysterectomy (wouldn’t be found during a lap as it’s inside the uterus). Adenomyosis can also be described as a bulky uterus.

Remember you know your body best, push for more tests and don’t let them fob you off

Wow. I had the same experience yesterday *verge of tears*. They told me I had no endo too but I have the same experiences as you except my pain comes after intercourse for days but I also have extreme pain in lower back, legs and hips when period is on. Constipation before and part of my period and I just felt sad bc the doctor didnt even come to explain anything to me the HCA was just read their findings off a sheet and I just wanted them to say whats next and they said "no follow up" and have no idea what that means. All they said was 'gas filled descending colon could be the cause of pain' but these symptoms only comd right before and during my period.

I've had this pain since my period began (when I was 11 and almost 26 now).

I am thankful for finding it's not endo but now I'm just like okay God, help me know what it is.

Aww I hope you find out soon what’s causing it all it’s horrible I mean I’m glad I haven’t got it but I want answers to all my problems xxx

I understand how you are feeling. I'll tell you my experience. I had my uterus removed because I had uterine fibroids, no one ever told me I had endometriosis, even though I asked my doctor several times because of the pain. I had the surgery and the surgeon didn't see anything else. 1 month later the biopsy showed I had endo. So I don't really know to what extent they're able to see it just with the naked eye.. I wonder if someone knows. Wait for your biopsy, it might show something. They didn't see anything on your intestine?

I mean I can’t realkt remeber much other then I had a biopsy and I’ll get he results in 4 weeks and evening looked fine so I’ll wait and see what the biopsy says xx

I going through the same painful symptoms now, along with bladder urgency from the constant cramping, and in the process of finding a gyno as my pain is really debilitating and I even went to emergency one night because it was so bad but of course like plenty of doctors before them they did the bare minimum when it came to actually examining me and suggested it might be something stupid like gastro. It wasn't gastro. One of the doctors I had seen (the better one who is now away for 2 months unconviently for me) suggested a number of things mine could be, endo, fibroids, PCOS, initial cystitis or what she was thinking was tight pelvic muscles which she started to treat me for with muscles relaxants and a recommendation to go to a physio that specialist in pelvic muscle dysfunction. That was 2 years ago and I am now in so much pain it's making depressed and housebound except for being driven to doctors and back. I'm a bit scared that if I do need a laparoscopy I'm scared they won't find anything too because people have been putting doubt in my head but I'm trying to listen to body as I know my body and pains very well by now. It's so hard because all thrle symptoms could be a number of things.
