Advice Please

Hi just would like some advice I have not posted since my last surgery. I have endometriosis and adhesions. I've had surgery, ovary removed and adhesions split in 2013. I'm in my menopause and although I'm not having periods I have had the awful pain return for 3+ weeks every two months. I am a nurse work 12.5 hours shifts and since February it has become unbearable at these times. So now I'm back in the system and my consultant want to carry out another laparoscopy to see what is happening and go from there as to what to do. I am scared that doing this will make it worse. My question is do I try and cope and hope when my hormones finally settle and I will be in less pain or go for surgery with the prospect of making the adhesions worse ? Thank you
