Endometriosis and sperm issues Are both of them have the same affect on infertility?

what makes the journey ao difficult and cause infertility Male issues or endometriosis

I always read that male issues usually need ivf

But endometriosis suffers can do it without ivf

Are both of them have the same effects on infertility?

Why always if there is male issues they usually suggest ivf immediately but endo suffer they give them times to try naturally ?

I personally think it's a matter of where the endo is and what it's affecting if it's tubes and uterus and ovaries basically the reproductive system they'd recommend ivf. As for men's issues it's a matter of research if the man's sperm can be helped by supplements then that's worth a shot first but if not then ivf/icsi is probably what would be suggested. We all need to research our own journeys though can't just take drs words for it, I think they recommend ivf way too much and sometimes it's not necessary. Just a bit of research and altering diets and lifestyles can sometimes help. My aunt had severe endo was told she would never have kids she had three with no help.

Sometimes i feel i should not Listen to doctors as my doctor said for me you will be able to get pregnant even he knows i have cysts and svere endometriosis when i read on internet the only way to get pregnant with severe endometriosis is to have lap before try to but my doctor did not say that he only said i will be able to get pregnant but i believe on how people with the same issue and their experiences most of them have the same process to get pregnant with this stage

Your aunt and her pregnancies give me a lot of hope because i suffer from severe endometriosis also

did she have lap in order to get pregnant with all of her kids ?

Not that iv been told hun. Unfortunatly she's passed now suddenly over night a tumour on her adrenal gland.

They do say it's best to get a lap with endo to conceive also research and take supplements to help your eggs as endo damages the eggs

Go with what you feel is best if I was you I'd have a lap start taking good supplements both you and hubby limit caffeine or cut it out totally and whatever else we know is bad and then get on with TTC.

Wish you all the best hun

Hi lovely.

I just want to say I agree with @AllWeNeedIsLuv she’s given some great advice there & not much more I can add to that.

I also have endometriosis; I don’t know my stage. My endo grows back rapidly & each lap it’s been worse ☹️ mine does affect fertility because it chooses to grow on my uterus ligament 🙄I’ve had 3 laps within 13 months ( my last lap was by an endo surgeon coz it was all over my rectum) Not every women that has endo will find it difficult to conceive. It will as stated above depend on the location & severity determines whether it affects fertility.

But yeah I think you should push for a laparoscopy because that can help women conceive with endo.

Definitely look into the anti inflammatory diet; it has eases my symptoms so much!

As said above look into supplements to help with endo & fertility.

Also bee propolis can help ladies with endo conceive; a study showed 60% of endo sufferers conceived using bee propolis.

Ladies with endo tend to have lower progesterone because we have higher estrogen levels. I brought a progesterone cream which is natural & has 20 mg of progesterone per pump! I read an article suggesting women with endo TTC should apply progesterone cream twice daily between days 8-26.

Wishing you the best xoxoc

Yes true that some food and supplements help to get pregnant

But it will never happen if you have adhesions or blocked tubes

It is not the disease itself

Thats why a lot of women were able to get pregnant after lap it because they get rid of adhesions

Adhesions is the main issue for endo suffers you can see how is stage one and two are able to get pregnant naturally

But three and four they need help

Because stages 3 and 4 make the organs look terrible and mess everything

all of the stages have endo cells the only different with last two stages is the adhesions

Why people still take clomid but it didn’t help

Endometriosis is a disease that it could affect the eggs but even if you have good eggs it will never happen with the adhesions

For me now I don’t consider lap but i will try to take supplements that supposed to help scar tissue with some anti inflammatory diet but I don’t know if it works

Well, I have seen that people with Endo use IVF. Well, Endo is not the severe state of infertility. While to increase sperm count is quite difficult. It is not impossible but it is difficult. I hope that it would help you out to understand this. IVF is suggested when the endo affect the tubes and ovaries and nearby areas so they prefer it. Well, it better know by a doctor. So we should follow their instructions.

Hi, I hope you are doing good. well, I had never such experience. in severe cases, they suggest IVF in Endo. Endo is treatable. But to increase the male count is a bit difficult. They suggest IVF in count problem because in that IVF is effective. But In endo, they prefer that a woman try again. I hope that it would help you to understand this. My best wishes are with you.

I've seen that people with Endo go for IVF. Increasing the number of sperm is very difficult though. It is not impossible, but difficult. Hopefully, it will help you to understand it. IVF preferred when endo effects tubes, ovaries. Well, Doctors knows well. Therefore, you must follow their instructions. I hope this will help you.
