Hi gals, I’m not sure if this is connected in anyway to the condition or maybe it’s a number of things specific to me and my body etc... but has anyone else passed out or felt like they were about to?
I’ve blacked out a couple of times over the last week, and almost have about 4 times total in the last month (since my symptoms have been worse). It just seems very coincidental to not be connected, as it’s all happening at the same time.
It’s happened at home, in the car, at work! I can’t see any link other than the Endo... help please?

Twice, when the pain was really bad. On its own- not completely but the feeling of weakness, dizziness etc. I experience at least couple of times a week... but there can be soooo many reasons. Do you take any medicines?
I’m taking codine for the pain every 4 hours along with my anti anxiety (propranolol). But the doctor says the mix of them shouldn’t affect me... it feel so weird!
I would talk to your doctor, or even change the GP... I don't want to frighten you, especially that I'm not a doctor, but I'd be more careful. When my GP prescribed codeine she scheduled a phone appointment at the end of a week to check how am I doing - she said it's so addictive she didn't want me to take even a day longer than needed (we planned max 7-9 days, twice a day max). It didn't happen anyway cause it turned out I'm kind of allergic - I took one pill in the evening, then one following morning and it was a hell ( I vomited for 5 hours and I was constantly! crying for 7-8 hours). We changed to naproxen and anyway I take it only when really needed and swap with paracetamol/ibuprofen when I can, just to keep the dose as minimum as possible, but anyway some side effects still kick in. I know that sometimes only codeine can stop the pain, but what I'm saying- be super careful and listen first to your body! Maybe talk to your GP and ask for a different painkiller, just to try it for a week or two (anyway, it will take 48hrs for your body to clear out the last dosage of codeine). As I said - it's just a suggestion, I'd definitely consult doctor, but please, be careful. Codeine addiction is horrible and blackouts when you're driving is really dangerous...
I do feel like I need to talk to the dr again, it’s definitely not right. The codine doesn’t affect the pain sometimes, when I have flare ups, even with all the doses the pain can still be a 8/9 out ten 😫😭
I don’t know if it’s my body, if it’s a number of things... I know my appetite has been smaller, I’ve not slept well, trying to get back to work, it could all just be too much and my body wants to turn off and reboot? But how do I know when it’s going to do that and how do I deal with it? I guess that’s what I need to ask the doctor. Thank you for your help and advice! It’s very much appreciated.
