Flare Day 🔥😭

I was up half the night feeling like my uterus is tearing itself from me with fire. I’m on Pregabalin for the pain, which controls a fair amount... but not today. So I gave in and took codeine as well, and I’ve been in a zombified state for several hours. Coming on here though I realise I’m not alone. It’s disgraceful how much we have to accept and endure. Extra love to those of you having a bad day, and respect to you all for battling on 💛

Ahhhh sometimes my uterus literally feels like it’s trying to burn its way out of my body through my bikini line. Haven’t heard many of ladies describe this symptom often, it’s refreshing to know I’m not alone with that symptom but I’m sorry you get it too as it’s a f***er. I can’t drink alcohol anymore as I get the uterus burning very strongly the next day. My lap confirmed endometriosis in multiple places one of them being behind my uterus. I hope your flare has calmed down, big hugs xx

Aw thanks. Like you say it’s good to know you’re not alone. It’s calmed down to normal levels of pain now! Xxx

God bless you. You are a warrior Emma.

It's shocking the lack of awareness. How many ads have we saw in tv for endometrial cell research? To discover why so many of us have an eddometrium growing roguely? Causing us so much pain. The illness than can go hand in hand with infertility and cost our government millions in fertility treatment, surgical and hormonal treatments to eradicate it? I have not saw as much as a blip.

I'm a Hysterectomy survivor from the 1st quarter of this year. I don't know what my cancer are to stay endometriosis free.

Stay well and look after yourself.

Best wishes

Helly.

I absolutely agree. I think endometriosis UK are doing such a good job of promoting it and providing support but it’s just not well known enough for my liking yet! Thank you for your support-I hope you do continue to recover xxx
