I had 4 lots of IVF to get pregnant, the 4th time my tube was not filled with fluid (hydrosalphinx) and I got pregnant along with the other drugs like steroids antibiotics and viagra. I had major bowel survey 4 years previously due to endometriosis that why I also needed IVF

The endometriosis on my bowel was so bad I needed it cut out so the took a portion of it out and joined it (resection) then I has lots of complications, infections etc. They said I would need IVF to be able to get pregnant. I had tried for 10 years but nothing. When you have a hydrosalphinx when the tube is fill with fluid, this can leak out and poison the embryo. Also I had hardly any blood flow getting to my womb, so I may of been conceiving but it would not stay alive a not enough blood was getting to it to make it grow. I think the bad blood flow was a side effect of my surgery, and the fluid in my tube may also of leaked killing any embryos. This is just my story everyone if different. Hope it helps

Not necessarily. I’ve had a recurrent endometrioma on my left ovary which has been operated on 4 times over the last 8 years. Until last year my tubes were fine. My left Fallopian tube has now been clipped and my right is blocked. They think this is due to maybe scar tissue from recurrent surgeries or a post op infection that was undetected xx

Thank for the response ❤️Were you able to get pregnant naturally with this problem?! Does pain on ovary indicate that i have blocked Fallopian tubes ?

I didn’t get pregnant naturally because of how severe my endometriosis is. We have had 8 years of fertility treatment including 6 months of Clomid and then two failed embryo transfers. We’ve just got pregnant on our second cycle of IVF. I am 8 weeks pregnant at the moment and hoping and praying baby sticks xx
