Has anyone had an MRI to map your endo and did you need a contrast dye injection?
I've had an MRI before for my back, but I didn't need one for that, but something in my mind is telling me I'll need a contrast for this because it's looking for growths in the organs.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

I had an MRI with contrast to look for endo in or on my bowels before having surgery. The dye injection was okay, from what I remember it gives you a funny sensation like you need to have a wee but otherwise is absolutely fine! xxx
I had an MRI, they didn't use any dye and they still found endo without it. They did give me baclofen to temporarily slow bowels down (as any movement would blur the image). I didn't notice any side effects at all from that.
