hi all I'm off to hospital today for the long awaited hysterectomy. so hopefully will be endo pain free after 10 year!! Good luck to everyone on here. X

Hi, today is the first day I’ve felt relatively normal. The pain is so much less than I imagined it would be, more discomfort than anything else. I think everything went according to plan and each day I am more mobile. The worst bit for me was the Moviprep before the op, the rest just kinda happened

Glad to hear you're doing well. Have you had a lap, if so how does this compare recovery wise?

Is Moviprep the horrid lemon fizzy one? I had to use one before a barium enema and I was lucky a colleague warned what to expect so I took the day off work - that was not something I want to relive! Didn't have a bowel prep for my lap so wondering if my Dr doesn't do them!

I didn’t have a lap so can’t compare the two. Did have a baby and this was a hell of a lot better than that!
