Supposed to have started my medical menopause this week, which would have been good as it’s halfterm and I’m a preschool teacher. I would’ve had the days to rest if I had side effects, which I hear are the worst first few days.
But nope. My doctor is still awaits the consultants letter so I chased his secretary as requested and he is on holiday till next week.
Fingers crossed I do t get any arse whooping side affects when I eventually start. I really nervous about it to be honest x

Hi, I also was started on Prostap last year till they waited for my Endometrioses surgery which happened 3 weeks back.
I am not sure what other people experience but the symptoms of Prostap in my case were very gradual. There were mood swings, hot flushes, headaches, vaginal dryness and low libido but can’t help it as they wanted my Endometrioses to be in control. I think I managed it quite well but this varies from person to person. I didn’t even take HRTs
Do be nervous as I think it will be gradual which you wouldn’t even realise.
