1 Prostap Injection

Hi ladies, just looking for some advice! I had 1 prostap injection to down regulate before starting IVF, that was 8 weeks ago. Just wondering how long it should take for my period to come back so I can start this IVF journey! Feeling very anxious!

Hey, I had a 3 month prostap injection and it took 7 months to start cycling again. Good luck with your ivf cycle xx

Hi! I was supposed to have 6 months worth but had to stop due to dangerous side effects. I had 1 prostap injection and my periods returned 11 months later. Xx

11 months! OMG that's ages & disappointing to read, after just 1 injection. I was hoping to start IVF as soon as possible

I was 17 at the time so it may have just been my body being slow! I wish you the best of luck with your IVF! I’m sure that they’re are ways they can help the cycle! 💖

I did ivf straight after prostap and I didn’t need to wait for a bleed to start ivf. They calculated the prostap was meant to last 12 weeks and started the stims then xx

Oh really! That's good to know. I'm going to get onto my Dr about this being a possibility. Thank you!
