I was diagnosed with endo at 18 had my lap at 21. It’s been 4 lovely years of less pain and less symptoms but as promised it’s back. I’ve had 6 months of no periods followed by 2 bloody awful ones and the dark blood and pain. Me and my partner have talked about kids in the next year. I am wondering do I come off the pill and start trying now? I have this fear I’ll atruggle to conceive and I would rather have them a year earlier than planned than not at all! Thanks

As a nurse once told me when I found out I had endo 3 years ago - HAVE YOUR KIDS NOW! Do not hesitate. I didn't and now I'm 33, no kids and having to attempt IVF in the hopes that I can have kids. Endo is a nasty disease that can destroy your fertility so while you are still young and are even speaking about it - do it girl.
Go and get yourself an AMH test to see how many follicles you have and if you have a lot - consider freezing your eggs for when you want to have kids again in the future. The AMH test will also give you an idea of if conceiving will be an issue for you. I had my test done at the London Womens Clinic for £150. It also included a sperm analysis for my partner, so it's like a fertility MOT. Well worth it.
