Hi I'm referred to St Michaels’ Hospital Bristol NHS Foundation Trust Endo centre to see gynae and have ultrasound.
I had a frustrating and pointless experience years ago with weston super mare gynaes and was looking for honest feedback on St Michaels please.
I have daily bowel pain, ovulation pain and period pain that require painkillers and time off work as well as chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, painful sex and frequent abdominal pain.
Thanks

I can’t comment on Bristol endometriosis centre as I’m under the Dorset Endometriosis Centre at Poole Hospital after 2 laps. I have found my care to be second to none; I have felt understood and my symptoms are being taken seriously and not fobbed off.
If you go to endometriosis UK you can find details of what to expect during your initial appointment with your endo specialist.
I’m sorry to hear you have felt dismissed by gynaes 🤦🏽♀️ and hope your appointment goes well xoxo
See if you can go to Southmead (also in Bristol) they are experts. Been on their books (!) for over 6 years and find them really supportive. TBF I don’t know about St Michaels but think Southmead have some leading consultants in the field. Good Luck.
