Good morning all, I've been having a few issues with my endo recently.

I have very frequent pains, and heavy periods with large clots, lovely... Although this morning I woke up and I had bled very heavily in the night, this is the second time this has happened, the first time was around 4 years ago. I am mid cycle at the moment, the blood is very thin with occasional large clots. I honestly feel that my gp is getting sick of hearing from me at this point, I'm unsure of what to do regarding this. I feel really lethargic and have got a rather nasty headache that I'm managing with pain killers.

Exactly a year ago I was admitted to hospital with a severe pain in my right side, turns out that I had a cyst on my ovary that had burst, the pain got no better, and my periods became something to dread, I had been suffering with it for around 8+ years. After a few months, and several appointments (sept 2017) I had a laproscopy and they found signs of endo, on my ovaries and uterus. I am managing this with pain killers but I am so fed up I just want to cry. They have taken me off the implant but couldn't start me on the combined pill as I suffer with migranes, so I am taking desogestrel, have been for almost a month.

I am rambling I know but I didn't know where else I could chat with anyone, I feel that the change to my birth control have made things worse already and I just feel so down.

Coming from someone who has suffered from endo ever since I started periods I know your pain and issues.

I myself can say when I’ve had changed of birth control they really have messed up my system even more ! Like every time I’ve changed my bleeding is uncontrollable- even tho I have prostap injections aswell! Pains been unbearable and frequently have ended up with many many hospital stays.

Why don’t you ask your doctor for some tablets to Supress the bleeding? Also with feeling so lethargic I’d get your bloods checked... endo can really mess your system up. And if u feel like the tablets aren’t working then go back it takes so long to find the right treatment in every person and endometriosis
