Period is due today or tomorrow and I have what feels like sciatica down both legs - a new symptom, a pain in my lower back, feeling like I need a no 2 (tmi) all the time, burning / achey, crampy stomach pains. Shoulder pain I usually get isn't too bad this month. I'm feeling just mentally tired, like completely wiped.
Been on ibuprofen for three days, but that's making me feel sickey; I usually take both ibuprofen and paracetamol for the three days on my period but today it's just paracetamol.
I just want it to be next week already!

Do you usually get relief from ibuprofen? I find it actually makes my inflammation worse! I've only just been diagnosed with endo but that inflamed feeling you describe, I know it well. The best pain relief I find is codeine. You can't take it continually for a long time but intermittently is OK. Have you tried it?
I also find I need to drink tonnes more water when I'm like that. Its like my body is working extra hard.
the ibuprofen helps my period cramps; the type of painkiller it is means it needs to be taken before the pain starts, but by then it irritates my stomach, so I have to switch painkillers.
I've tried codeine years ago and won't go near it anymore; only took it for 24 hours but the side effects, omg, hot / cold, sweaty, clammy, headaches, nausea. I think my period is bad enough lol!
Thanks for the advice regarding water, I drink loads, definitely will drink more and see if that helps xx
