8 days post op.. can walk, can go out for a short whilejust feel a bit sore..

I still find it strange you have no after care instructions and mine weren’t really able to give me a time period of how much time I’d need off...

8 days.. I feel good but I don’t feel 100 percent as yet. Still sleepy, still feel like I’ve had something done.

Yesrday my mum took me out for a drive to the shops and back I did a bit of walking not much and managed to go out for lunch.. someone made a comment how I was back on my feet and how great it is and I was thinking wow yeah I’m not 100 percent just yet.

Belly button still feels sore and bending down is still not the most amazing experience.

Haven’t drove yet, just avoiding it for now.

I’m thinking by another 7 days I’ll be back to the normal with the way things are going..

I know many would feel ok and maybe go back to work like this but you can feel you aren’t completely healed inside.

When did you go back to a reasonable normal state? Driving etc?

I had a diagnostic lap in September and I was walking around after 5 days out and about but was still a little bit sore. After a week I started driving again. I suppose everyone’s different and depends on what’s been done x

I went out yesterday my mum drove me.. probs did too much walking etc as I’m feeling it today so need to slow down and take it easy for a while
