Had total hysterectomy 4 weeks ago,menopause soon kicked in gp started me on Estelle patch on Tuesday,past few days iv been feeling really sick is this a side effect.

Nausea can be a symptom of menopause too. It could also be normal recovery from your op. If it doesnt improve your gp may be able to prescribe anti sickness medication. x
If you've had a hyst for endo then oestrogen only HRT isn't suitable - you need progesterone as well. I had my hyst last year and the endo specialist advised 3 months post op with no HRT then 6-12 months of tibolone before starting on a bioidentical combined HRT so if I were you I would contact your specialist and ask their advice and then go back to your GP. Although oestrogen only is usually fine when you've had a hysterectomy it's not the right HRT if you have endometriosis.
it might also be worth asking for a referral to a menopause specialist as this is not really something a GP should be managing - if you are under 40 the daisy network website has a list of NHS clinics that specialise in premature menopause.
