Help to find right consultant who will listen to me about pain .. I’m desperate 😔

I’m hoping that someone maybe able to point me in the direction of a consultant who will listen to me and not just dismiss me because the ultrasounds show nothing, I’ve got no more lady parts so you can’t have anything wrong, we are going to discharge you as the ultrasound is clear .. the decapeptyl you did not work on endo or fibroids as we don’t know what it worked on.. I’m so so so so low, I can’t walk, exercise, work, have sex with my hubby or be a mum to my son etc etc.. it was the same pre op and now it’s getting how it was before the op.. decapeptyl made me a new woman .. my gp can see there is something wrong but the hospital don’t.. I read about women going through exactly the same and eventually they find the right person who not just helps them, but actually listens to them.. my daughters are ill with this aswell and one can go private but my other daughter like me is nhs and the doors are shut.. we don’t know who to see it what to do.. any suggestions would be great ladies thank you so much 😔xx

Unfortunately, I'm 95% sure we're not allowed to name specialists here. Your best bet would be to look on the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy as there is a list of endo accredited hospitals and specialists. Sorry you've been through all of this and best of luck with finding the right doctor.

Hey, the best way to find a good consultant who will listen is to go for a private appointment. It was the best thing I did and cost £214 at spire. I know it’s a lot but he was so clued up on endometriosis, the causes and he listened to my situation for a good 60 minutes. Since the pain is affecting my sports career he immediately suggested a lap compared to gps and general gynaes who said a load of rubbish to me and made me feel horrible and a liar.
